Text Box: Ahmed Khattab is a Ph. D. student at Rice University in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He is a member of the Rice Networks Group under Dr. Edward Knightly. He received both His M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Cairo University in 2004 and 2002, respectively. His M.Sc. thesis focused on opportunistic scheduling with provision of soft delay guarantees for multimedia traffic in beyond 3G wireless networks. The contribution of my work is demonstrated in the resulted publications.
