I am a graduate student in Electrical Engineering at Rice University. I work under the guidance of Dr. Ashutosh Sabharwal as a member of the Center for Multimedia Communications. I am currently studying aspects of fairness in wireless networks.
I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. At Illinois, I was affiliated with the Coordinated Science Laboratory conducting a research project under the supervision of Professor Douglas L. Jones as part of the Vodafone Research Scholarship. I served as President of the Alpha Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, the National Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society, and was a National Finalist for the Alton B. Zerby & Carl T. Koerner Outstanding ECE Award.
I have also spent time as an intern with the Customer's Center for Solutions Integration (CCSi) division of Motorola Inc. in Schaumburg, IL and as a member of the Bioacoustics Research Lab, a part of the University of Illinois Beckman Institute.
I am originally from Hillsborough, NJ where I graduated from Hillsborough High School in June 2002.
