The Rjce Elec |
The Rice Elec is a newsletter being created in an effort to bolster the resources of the undergraduate elec. The goal is for at the completion of one year to have created a collection of articles that could be strong reference for a student beginning their life as an electrical engineer. To do this, the magazine will have articles covering Rice research, life in industry, interviewing, grad school, fundamental concepts, and the various opportunities available in their four years of studies. We want Rice students to be aware of what is happening in their school's department. With improved awareness, students will be able to obtain much more knowledge than what is just gained in class. They will begin to connect the science of their studies to the applications in the real world. They might even discover unknown interests and pursue them. Rice IEEE hopes more students form an interest in EE through this year's activities, not only an interest but an involvement. If you would have an interest in aiding in this new project please contact Elliot Ng and Charlie Ice the Rice IEEE Co-Presidents.
