Research by the Laboratory for Nanophotonics on "solar steam" has had an amazing amount of media coverage. The Rice video has had nearly 20,000 hits and more than 100,000 people have read the story on Rice's webpage. Rice News office is expecting interview requests for Naomi Halas and Oara Neumann well into the new year.
