Bachelor of Arts (Electrical Engineering Major)

120 Semester Hours

Consult the Rice University General Announcements for the general university requirements for undergraduate degrees. A BA in ECE program must have a total of at least 120 semester hours, and include the following courses. A course can satisfy only one program requirement, except for laboratory. Students who place out of required courses without transcript credit must substitute other approved courses in the same area.

Specialization Area Courses
Upper-level ECE courses are organized into three Specialization Areas. The BA program must include four courses total from at least two areas, including at least two courses in one area. Each course must be at least 3 semester hours.
