Graduate Studies
The faculty in ECE at Rice perform experimental and theoretical
research in control and system theory, signal processing,
communications, bioengineering, computer systems engineering, solid
state devices, and quantum electronics. In their graduate work,
students actively participate in both the experimental and theoretical
aspects of this research. The laboratories are well-equipped to support
cutting-edge research. Frequent research seminars - both formal and
informal - create a dynamic research atmosphere and close
student-faculty interaction.
