  • Best Global Health Technologies Engineering Design Project
  • Awarded to the engineering design project that best address a global health need. These projects may be focused on medical devices for the developing world or on other measures such as clean water technology for low resource settings that also have the potential to improve health worldwide.

Funded by National Instruments - $400
  • National Instruments Award for Engineering Design
  • Awarded for best use of NI hardware & software in the design, test, and implementation of their project. Students should show (in their poster or in additional handouts,) original LabVIEW code (modified examples acceptable ) along with an explanation of how NI hardware was used in the solution.
  • Winners may be asked to attend the NI Week National Student Design Showcase

  • Best Energy Related Engineering Design Project
  • Awarded for best implementation of project in the area of energy conservation, production,development and sustainability.
