Papers should be a maximum of 5000 words. A PDF version of the complete paper and a separate text file, with the following information:

• paper title;
• paper abstract;
• paper keywords;
• complete name, address, telephone, fax and email of each author;
• author who is responsible for correspondence;
• which of the conference tracks (systems, architectures or processors) is most relevant to your paper

should have been submitted by April 23, 2004.

Authors were welcome to submit papers using the formatting required for the camera ready version of the paper.
ASAP proceedings use ieee6x9 format. Latex source and the ieee6x9.sty file are available at ftp://pubftp.computer.org/Press/Outgoing/proceedings/6x9%20-%20Formatting%20files/ or try http://www.ece.rice.edu/asasp2004/latex6x9/.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register for and attend the conference.
