Corporate Relations

ECE actively works with companies in a variety of innovative ways to shape the future of technology and address real-world challenges to industry. We encourage companies that are interested in exploring or expanding specific research areas to sponsor a research grant or contract, and support the career development of students.

Through the Corporate Affiliates Program, ECE faculty and staff collaborate with many organizations on research projects from concept through completion, developing well-defined milestones and deliverables. Organizations can conduct research in emerging technologies without making the substantial investment required for operating an internal research program. We encourage ongoing dialogue, technical exchanges, status reviews and joint participation among Rice researchers, students and engineers.

We would like to offer our sincere appreciation to our current corporate partners for their generous support of, and continued membership in, the ECE Corporate Affiliates Program.

For more information on how to join the ECE Corporate Affiliates Program please contact Jennifer Hunter at jkh6@rice.edu.
