How to Join ECE Affiliates
Membership contributions represent an investment in the future of
Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice. By making long-term
commitments to the program, our affiliates experience the growth that
their contributions have helped to make possible. Memberships in the
Electrical and Computer Engineering Affiliates Program are offered to
companies by invitation from the Department Chair, the Dean of the
George R. Brown School of Engineering, and other faculty members. Each
affiliated company can designate up to three employees as associated
technical representatives. Annual payments of membership fees are based
on the joining date. Companies that form affiliations with any of the
eight other departments within the George R. Brown School of
Engineering pay discounted membership fees.
Program Membership Options
Each membership level offers a different combination of benefits to
the affiliated company. The cost is based on the agreed upon membership
level. Joint memberships with the Computer Science Department are
available. Please contact us for specific information regarding the
membership fees.
