The talk will provide a brief overview of our research in performance
virtualization and energy conservation in storage data centers.
The former deals with providing performance isolation among concurrent
clients by appropriate scheduling and multiplexing of server resources.
The second project deals with exploiting data placement and coding
techniques to effect energy conservation in the storage subsystem.
