Mission Statement

The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Graduate Student Council (GSC) is the student governmental organization for the ECE department. Membership is open to all of the six disciplines within the department (systems, computer eng., applied physics, bio-engineering, physics, chemistry) with the hope that each disipline is represented.

The primary objectives of the GSC is to act as a liaison between the faculty and the graduate students. It is a forum to facilitate communication between the two communities. Students can convey suggestions for changes and improvements, air their grievances, as well as offer positive feedback about faculty members or the department through the graduate student council members. Likewise the faculty members can avail this body to communicate their inputs where direct messages are difficult. Direct interaction with the faculty occurs through the Graduate Committee student representative.

All meetings are open to the public.
