The department is very pleased to announce that Jacob Robinson and Isabell Thomann will be joining the department after July 2012.

Jacob Robinson received his PhD from Cornell in Applied and Engineering Physics. He will be joining us after completing his postdoc at Harvard University. His research interests include utilizing nanotechnology to interface with networks of neurons and study their spatiotemporal dynamics.
Isabell Thomann received PhD in Physics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her research interests include energy, photocatalysis, ultrafast spectroscopy and nanophotonics. Isabell joins us after finishing her postdoc at Stanford University.
