SPIE Newsroom publishes recent work by Mitra and Veeraraghavan
Kaushik Mitra, Postdoctoral Researcher, and Ashok Veeraraghavan, Assistant Professor, have written a featured technical article, that was published November 19, 2013, on the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) website for his research on Electronic Imaging & Signal Processing, titled, "Analyzing Computational Imaging Systems."
The recent publication focuses on how a novel framework, which takes into account optical multiplexing, sensor noise characteristics, and signal priors, can analyze any linear computational imaging camera.
This is joint work with Oliver (Ollie) S. Cossairt, Lisa Wissner-Slivka and Benjamin Slivka Junior Professor of Computer Science at Northwestern University.
Since 1959, SPIE has honored the best in optics and photonics for their significant achievements and contributions in advancing the science of light. This not-for-profit international society advances emerging technologies through interdisciplinary information exchange, continuing education, publications, patent precedent, and career and professional growth.
