White House taps ARPA-E to boost methane detection 

 


 

Frank Tittel, the J.S. Abercrombie Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of Bioengineering, and his group have created a highly sensitive portable sensor that tests the air for damaging greenhouse gases. The sensor is mentioned as a possible solution to the EPA’s missing methane problem.
