Rahmati, Qian, and Zhong Receive the MobileHCI Best Paper Award (September 2007)

Qian, ECE undergraduate student, and Assistant Professor Lin Zhong have received the
MobileHCI best paper award for their paper, Understanding
Human-Battery Interaction on Mobile Phones. The MOBILEHCI is an international
forum where academics and practitioners discuss the challenges and
potential solutions for effective human-computer interaction with
mobile systems and services. It covers the design, evaluation and
application of techniques and approaches for all mobile and wearable
computing devices and services.
The team received the award during the 9th annual Human Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services conference in Singapore, September 9-12. “This is a great success story for our engagement of undergraduates in research. I am very excited and eager to share this experience in such a high profile, internationally visible venue.” said Zhong. |
