Bright future awaits Gillenwater, winner of the NSF Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (April 2008)

ECE proudly congratulates talented senior student, Jennifer Gillenwater, for receiving the 2008-2009 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. This award is funded for a maximum of three years and can be used in any three, yearlong units (starting summer or fall) over a five-year period. She received the fellowship for her research in artificial intelligence, including robotics, computer vision and human language processing. In graduate school, she plans to focus research efforts in the area of natural language processing (NLP).
