A committee of Rice ECE faculty selected three top projects for innovation, demonstration of technical skills, “real world” impact on the future, and oral presentation. The Senior Design Laboratory (Elec 494) final presentations were made on April 20.
The first place winner was "Smart Antenna" - Naren Anand, Janice Chow, Thomas Deitch, and C.J. Steuernagel, advised by Ashutosh Sabharwal.

Third place winner was "uRound? The future of mobile social networking" - Britt Antley, Rohan Balsaver, and Mohamed Jalaly, advised by Lin Zhong.

The award winning designs were displayed at the School of Engineering Division Reception held on Friday, May 8 from 4:00-5:30pm in Martel Hall, Anne and Charles Duncan Hall.
