Sabharwal receives NSF CRI funding
Ashutosh Sabharwal, along with a team of researchers, has been awarded
a $1.5 million grant from the NSF CRI program. The project
addresses the challenges of designing the next generation's high
performance wireless network. They are building a wireless
open-access research platform (WARP) that can operate 100s of Mb/s.
The WARP infrastructure will allow a community of users to collaborate
effectively by using specialized programming tools and support packages
and as an open-access repository, that contains building blocks for a
wide range of wireless systems.
