Massoud and Nieuwoudt win $24,000 Graduate DAC Scholarship Assistant Professor Yehia Massoud has been awarded a $24,000 DAC Graduate Scholarship, sponsored by the Design Automation Conference supporting Professor Massoud's research in electronic design automation and circuit design. More specifically, the research conducted on "Spiral Inductor Synthesis for Mixed-Signal Systems” with Arthur Nieuwoudt, a PhD graduate student in the Rice Automated Nanoscale Design Group, http://www.rand.rice.edu The scholarship is intended for graduate students of faculty investigators at universities trying to establish new programs in electronic design automation or circuit design. A formal presentation of the scholarship will be made at the opening session of the 42nd Design Automation Conference, June 14, 2005 in Anaheim California.
