ECE Student Award Winners
The department is proud to announce the following award winners.
The Texas Society of Professional
Engineers:
Veena Padmanabhan won the Outstanding Junior Engineering Student Award
and Benjamin R. Weidman won the award for Outstanding ECE Engineering
Student.
The Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) is a major group
within the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).
Chinese Government Award for
Outstanding Students
Hui Wang won the 2005 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Students
Abroad. The award is $5,000 for each winner.
Natural Sciences and Engineering
Research Council of Canada
Ilan Goodman won the NSERC Postgraduate Fellowship and receives
$21,000/year (Canadian) for two years.
