ECE Flying Owls, 4.12.08
The Third Annual Flying Owls 5K was held at Rice on April 12, 2008.
ECE was well-represented in the race. Pictured below (from left to right) are graduate student Kiarash Amiri (Kia), CAAM graduate student Layla Issa, associate professor Jun Kono and his daughter, ECE staff member Liz Hickman, Bob Hickman, graduate students David Kao and Chris Steger. Extra congratulations go out to Jun who won his age group and was No. 7 overall with a time of 20:07:30! Liz also won her age/gender category; David was 2nd in his age group; and Kia won $10 in the raffle! |
