Curriculum Vitae


Joshua is a member of the technical staff at Narus in Sunnyvale, CA. Joshua received a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University in May 2009, having also previously received MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering at Rice. He was a member of the Rice Networks Group, advised by Prof. Edward Knightly and co-advised by Ram Swaminathan at HP Labs.

His main research interests are in wireless network design and protocols, network measurements, and combinatorial optimization. He is currently working with the TFA-Wireless network. Previously, he has studied multi-hop CSMA MAC protocols, and been involved with the WARP Project.
