Participation in DASS: To apply for the DASS, each student has to complete this individual participant form and submit it.

Eligibility: The competition is open to all graduate students specializing in CAD currently enrolled full-time in a Ph.D. granting institution in any country. The student must have been enrolled at the University for the academic year 2004-2005.

We are especially interested in accepting students from schools with small programs in design automation and CAD. We also encourage junior students who are on the search for a dissertation topic/advisor in design automation and CAD to apply.

Travel and accommodation awards: NSF, SIGDA, and SRC have generously donated funds to secure travel and accommodation grants to assist students in attending the DASS. All participants will receive awards that cover lodging expenses at Anaheim. Full or partial awards that cover travel expenses will be provided to all participants subject to available funds.

Deadline for application: All forms are due by April 22, 2005, midnight, US Central Time. This is a firm deadline. We will not accept any late applications. An application is not complete until all parts of the application are submitted.

You will be notified of acceptance to the DASS by April 29, 2005.
