Input B takes the second 8-bit input and latches it into the cell labeled InputAforB.  The number represents the dividend for divison and the multiplicand for multiplication.  There is a one bit left shift in the lower block that shifts up through the upper set of latches for divison.  The upper registers are resetable so they can start on zero.  The upper latch can also be loaded with the result from the adder for both multiplication and division.
