Fall 2000 Update.

For labels to appear in cif2ps output try:

cif2ps -c 1 -f 10 file.cif > file.ps

The -c 1 tells it to look at cell 1 which is the sub-cell that contains the
labels in cif. The -f 10 option makes the labels 10 point font.

Fall 1999 Update.

The HP8000 printers should have sufficient memory for large
Postscript file including printers:

fondrenps, ravlps, muddps.

Also, the printers muddtab (tabloid paper) and
mudddup (duplex printing) have extra memory installed.

Fall 1998 Update.

For black and white Postscript printing of output from
cif2ps and pplot, try the suggested printers below.

The majority of Owlnet printers have 4 or 6MB RAM.  A few in various labs
have 14MB.  The two with by far the most memory (and the two that printed
successfully when I tested yesterday) are muddps in Mudd 109 and ravl3ps
in the architecture lab--both have 192MB RAM.
