Fall 2000 Update. For labels to appear in cif2ps output try: cif2ps -c 1 -f 10 file.cif > file.ps The -c 1 tells it to look at cell 1 which is the sub-cell that contains the labels in cif. The -f 10 option makes the labels 10 point font. ------ Fall 1999 Update. The HP8000 printers should have sufficient memory for large Postscript file including printers: fondrenps, ravlps, muddps. Also, the printers muddtab (tabloid paper) and mudddup (duplex printing) have extra memory installed. ------ Fall 1998 Update. For black and white Postscript printing of output from cif2ps and pplot, try the suggested printers below. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Append at 11/12/98 12:47 PM by Wyman Miles: The majority of Owlnet printers have 4 or 6MB RAM. A few in various labs have 14MB. The two with by far the most memory (and the two that printed successfully when I tested yesterday) are muddps in Mudd 109 and ravl3ps in the architecture lab--both have 192MB RAM. -----
