ECE Senior Student Patrick Murphy has received the department's senior design award for his work on "A Mobile testbed for GPS-Based ITS/IVC and Ad hoc Routing Experimebntation" as a part of Elec 527. This is the project in which wireless hardware is being placed on the Rice shuttle busses. Patrick developed much of the hardware and software used in the project.
