This is a photo of a T-ray endoscope, along with a pair of terahertz waveforms measured by reflection off of the interior (bottom) surface of the flask in the photo. The two peaks in each waveform correspond to reflections from the inner and outer surfaces of the base of the flask.

Dan Mittleman's research has been reported in this week's issue of the journal Nature, and is featured in this week's Rice News, and in the Houston Chronicle.
