ECE PhD student Robert LiKamWa presented two papers at the¬†MobiSys 2013¬†conference in Taipei, Taiwan, June 25-28.¬†
Both papers were authored by LiKamWa, Professor Lin Zhong, and a team from Microsoft.
Their paper "Energy Characterization and Optimization of Image Sensors Towards Continuous Mobile Vision" won the¬†Best Paper Award¬†for 2013. Lin Zhong and former student Mian Dong shared the MobiSys Best Paper Award in 2011 for their paper "Chameleon: a color-adaptive web browser for mobile OLED displays".
MobiSys is the premier conference in Mobile Systems, with a 15.7% acceptance ratio this year. It is sponsored by ACM SIGMOBILE.
