The Theta Rho chapter of Eta Kappa Nu, the IEEE Honor Society, inducted 12 new members on Monday, April 16. Eta Kappa Nu was founded in 1904 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne and currently has over 100 chapters. The prestigious organization boasts among its members the co-founder of Google, the founders of Qualcomm and the co-founder of Apple. The Theta Rho chapter is continuing to reach out more to the Rice community. They are tutoring other engineering students and looking for other service-oriented activities to give back to the campus.
