All of last week's op amp circuits were one time affairs: we wired a circuit, made some measurements, then replaced the circuit with a new one and repeated the process. The circuits we build this week will have a longer life. The emitter-detector pair from Experiment 6.1 will be used in Labs 8 and 9, and the pressure sensor from Experiment 6.2 will be used next week in Lab 7.
Since all of these circuits will have to be on the breadboard at the same time, you should devise a layout that will allow them to peacefully coexist. One possibility is to build the emitter-detector pair on the lower breadboard strip and the pressure sensor on the upper half. We will be adding additional circuitry in the coming weeks, so be sure to leave room for expansion.
