Outside the Lab

Before Lab

Our brief encounter with Labview in class should give you enough insight to understand the working of most of the VIs in this exercise. However, we necessarily skipped over a number of details, some of which are probably obvious, but some of which probably aren't. Additional information on Labview is available in the User's Manual and the Labview Programming Course in the Labview section of the Lab Textbook. The demos from class and additional examples are also available on this page and it would be a good idea to review them if you aren't yet comfortable with Labview programming.

After Lab

Question 3:
The AM radio VI we used in the lab samples at 1 MHz. If there were stations at 800 kHz and 1200 kHz they would be aliased on top of each other. Without using analog filtering, what could we do to receive each of them separately?
