Steve Sheafor is an Adjunct Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University. He received his BA and MEE from Rice University, his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in EE, and his MBA from the University of Santa Clara. He has spent 25 years in the Engineering field, most recently as Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Sitera and Vice President of Technology of Vitesse Semiconductor. He was also Founder, Chief Technology Officer and Director of Cornerstone Imaging, a public company now called Captiva.
